Happy Thursday friends! I just love three day weeks. It has been nice to ease back into work this week. Corey and I had a great, laid-back New Years Eve earlier this week. We headed out to dinner at Zafra, an out of this world Cuban restaurant in Hoboken that specializes in small plates. It is fast becoming my favorite restaurant. After dinner, we headed out to meet up with some friends and catch the last little bit of Clemson's bowl game, which was awesome. As I was getting ready for dinner on NYE, Corey and I shared a bottle of champagne out of some adorable bride and groom glasses that a friend gave us when we got engaged.
Since our evening was on the casual side, I made a last minute wardrobe change into one of my favorite black dresses and the Tory wedges Corey gave me for my birthday.
Corey's parents came into Hoboken on Tuesday for New Year's brunch and mimosas at Amanda's, an adorable French restaurant. It was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was too cute. I highly recommend brunch there if you're in the Hoboken area.
Have you checked out the Neiman Marcus and Target collection? I love that these two joined forces for the Holidays. I picked up this Lela Rose top and absolutely love it. I wore it to work with my Banana Republic sloan skinnies and a cardigan.
I also documented a couple casual OOTD's lately. I wore this sweater tunic to watch a Giant's game recently. It is from Victoria's Secret last year. I am just loving tunics with leggings. So comfy!
I've also tried a couple new Essie polishes over the past week. The first is Mink Muffs. I loved this one. Its perfect for cold weather.
Last night I totally ventured out of my comfort zone and painted my nails a Tiffany-esque blue. The color is Where's my Chauffeur? This color is not my usual style at all but I am really liking trying something totally different today.
I got a huge order of Mary Kay in last night. Mary Kay makes my absolute favorite eye makeup. I wear their shadows, eyeliner, and Lash Love mascara every day along with several skin care products and blushes. If you're interested in trying some new Mary Kay for yourself, check out my website and enter the code "Life with Elizabeth" in your order notes for 10% off.
How is your New Year so far?
Have a great day, loves! xo
