The One with Wal-MartOnce, many months ago, I had a dream that on the morning of my wedding I woke up and realized that I had forgotten to purchase gifts for my bridesmaids and for Corey. This sent me into complete panic because I wanted them to all know how appreciated they were. So I did the logical thing...I got dressed in my wedding gown and skipped my hair and makeup appointment to go shopping barefoot at the Southpark Mall to pick up the last minute gifts. I thought I would find something really quickly at Nordstrom so I went in. Then, Nordstrom turned magically into a super Wal-Mart maze. So I struggled to find my way out and then hurried across to Neiman Marcus. But when I entered Neiman Marcus, the same thing happened. It transformed into a Wal-Mart. And this was like no other Wal-Mart. It was huge and all the aisles were set up like a maze so I would get lost. When I finally escaped, I made one last try at Macy's. And guess what? It turned into a super Wal-Mart, too! I tried to select my gifts but everything I touched crumbled into pieces and fell to the floor. Mind you, I am wearing my wedding dress the whole time. And I'm trapped in Wal-Mart. If you know me personally, you know how much a trip to Wal-Mart stresses me out on a regular day so this was the ultimate wedding nightmare.
The One with the Veil
The One with the Red Sequins
Luckily, all of these things can't really happen. If, heaven forbid, I forgot something on the day of the wedding, my Maid of Honor or our planner would run to Wal-Mart. The veil has been safely in my possession for two months now. And Corey knows better than to try to wear red sequins to our wedding. Isn't it funny what your mind can come up with when you're busy and have a lot of your plate? Now all you married/engaged ladies - have you ever had any crazy wedding dreams? Let's hear 'em!
