Happy Monday ladies! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend this weekend. My mom came into town and we had a great time.
Friday night, I cooked for her and we drank copious amounts of Pinot Grigio, had girl talk, and watched The Help. I wanted to see it when it was in theaters and was way to busy with grad school. Oh my goodness - I loved this movie!
We had mani/pedis Saturday morning. Its been ages since I had a french mani so I took the opportunity to get one and my mom picked a pretty fall mauve color. I just love the classic look of a french manicure.
We had a girls' lunch in Hoboken then headed into Manhattan for my appointment at Kleinfeld. I was so excited to see my dress again and my mom was excited to see it in person for the first time. I'm still in love with it and absolutely can't wait until my actual dress arrives. We chose a veil that is beyond perfect for my dress. Kleinfeld was having a trunk show and the veil I chose was only in for the weekend. Obviously, it was meant to be. And added bonus - we met the veil's designer.
Saturday evening, my mom, Corey, and I met his parents in the city at Pepolino, a cute Italian restaurant in Tribeca. It was delicious and I loved the traditional Italian atmosphere. Then we braved the crowds and tourists and went into midtown to see the Rockefeller tree. Corey and I tried to see it last year but it wasn't lit up, which was crazy for a Saturday night the week before Christmas. It was on in all its glory this weekend.
If you visit the tree, make sure you see if from 5th Avenue with the angels. Its so much prettier from this view.

Sunday we went to my favorite pizzeria, and showed my mom why New York and New Jersey's pizza is the best. I wish I had a picture - your mouth would be watering.
Have a fabulous start to the week ladies!
