Bridal Talk Tuesday - Meet the Bridesmaids

Life with Elizabeth

Happy Tuesday girls!  Several weeks ago I introduced you to Anna and Elizabeth, my two maids of honor.  Today, I am going to introduce you to the rest of my wedding party.

I planned to do an engagement party recap today but my cousin and maid of honor also moved last week and is without internet. She took all the photos at the party since I was busy talking and mingling and drinking white wine and can't email them to me yet.

Meet Elizabeth
(That's right - we have a bride Elizabeth, a maid of honor Elizabeth, and a bridesmaid Elizabeth)

I met Elizabeth during my freshman year of college. She and I were in the same pledge class of Kappa Kappa Gamma and got to be friends through some of the older girls who reached out to us. We were roommates our senior year of college. She is such a fun girl and I have some great memories with her throughout the years. We've taken some really fun vacays together and supported each other through several relationships, messy breakups, and a very uncomfortable ex-boyfriend stalker situation. She moved to Oregon for law school right after the engagement party so yep, she's pretty awesome.

Meet Kate
Kate is Corey's sister and I love her to death. She is hysterical and has the best sense of humor. After the older people left the engagement party, the younger girls sat down at a table to try to finish the wine and this girl had us laughing for hours. She's been a great tour guide around NYC (she went to NYU) and she and Corey's mom came wedding dress shopping at Kleinfeld's with me. I feel really lucky that my future in-laws are so awesome. Kate is headed to Thailand in October to teach for several months.

Meet Bethany
Bethany and I first met the spring in my Freshman year of college in Spanish class. Oh how I did dread Spanish except for conversations with this girl. She was classy, well-spoken, and just plain fun to be around. Then, a year later, she decided to go through recruitment as a sophomore. Everyone loved her but I was willing to battle it out to have this girl in my sorority if that had not been the case. Then, a couple weeks later, right before Key Sister Revelation (any Kappas reading? You know how important this is!) I found out she was one of my twin littles. I have to say, both of my littles are phenomenal, and my other little is going to be a program attendant. Bethany's apartment was in the same building directly under mine in college and we have been on a number of fun trips together, including a cruise to the Bahamas for senior year spring break. She's currently in grad school at Northwestern.
